An audience you own
Your list does not depend on an algorithm deciding who sees your post.
Good email marketing Hong Kong customers actually open is built on three things: a list of people who agreed to hear from you, emails designed for the phone in their hand, and automations that send the right message at the right moment. Sight Seeker plans, designs and runs EDM email campaigns and automated flows on the platform that suits you, sets up the authentication inbox providers now require, and reports on clicks and sales rather than opens. For online stores it connects directly to your e-commerce marketing.

Built around the platforms your customers use

We connect technical foundations, Hong Kong search intent, useful landing-page content and conversion tracking—so the work is prioritised around business value.
Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) requires you to notify people and get their consent before using their personal data in direct marketing, and to stop when they opt out. A bought or scraped list breaks those rules and also wrecks deliverability, because Gmail and Yahoo filter senders with high complaint rates. We build lists from sign-up forms, checkouts and in-store opt-ins with clear consent wording, and keep opt-outs honoured across every platform. The same consent logic applies to your WhatsApp Business API messages. This is practical guidance, not legal advice — check the PCPD's direct-marketing guidance for your case.
This page uses its own service and audience journey, not a generic template.
Strategy, design, automation and deliverability handled together, with results tied to the pages people land on through conversion rate optimisation.

Automated flows follow up carts, orders and lapsed customers without extra work.
Authenticated domains and clean lists keep emails in the inbox.
Records of where and how each person opted in.
Most accounts we look at have at least one of these. A free audit shows which.
No SPF, DKIM or DMARC, or a complaint rate that inbox providers flag.
Bought or old contacts with no record of opt-in, which is a PDPO risk.
The same email to everyone, and no automations.
Apple Mail Privacy Protection inflates opens, so the numbers mislead.
Costs depend on your list, the platform and how much we build. Platform subscriptions are paid to the platform; our fee covers strategy, design, automation and reporting, quoted by scope. Stores on Shopify can often reuse existing data from their Shopify set-up.

Emails written in natural English and Hong Kong Chinese.
Consider a Hong Kong online store that sends one newsletter a month to every contact it has ever collected. Opens look fine, but sales from email are hard to find and more messages are landing in spam.
Cleaning the list, confirming consent, authenticating the domain and adding welcome, abandoned-cart and post-purchase flows would let the store see which emails actually produce orders. Social followers could be invited to sign up through social media marketing with proper consent wording.

In marketing, EDM (or eDM) stands for electronic direct mail — marketing emails sent to a list of subscribers. It covers newsletters, promotions and automated emails such as welcome or abandoned-cart messages. In Hong Kong the term is common, but it also means electronic dance music, so we write "EDM email" to be clear.
It depends on list size, the platform plan, how many automated flows and templates are built, and how often campaigns go out. Platform fees are paid to the platform, and our fee is quoted by scope with each item listed.
Yes — under the PDPO you must notify people and get their consent before using their personal data for direct marketing, and stop when they opt out. Commercial emails should also identify the sender and include a working unsubscribe option. This is not legal advice; check the PCPD's guidance on direct marketing for your situation.
The best platform is the one that fits your business: Klaviyo suits e-commerce stores, HubSpot suits B2B teams with a CRM, and Mailchimp or Brevo suit simpler newsletters and smaller lists. We compare them on features, data ownership and total cost for your list before recommending one.
Most EDM email designs use a width of around 600 to 640 pixels so they display well in desktop and mobile inboxes. More important than the width is a single-column, mobile-first layout, live text instead of one large image, and colours that still read in dark mode.
Emails usually go to spam because the sending domain is not authenticated, the list contains old or unconsented contacts, or too many people mark the emails as spam. Gmail and Yahoo now expect bulk senders to use SPF, DKIM and DMARC, offer one-click unsubscribe and keep complaint rates low.
Not very — Apple Mail Privacy Protection loads emails automatically, which inflates open rates for many lists. Clicks, conversions and revenue per email are more reliable measures, so those are what we report.
