1. API application and setup
Meta business verification, number application, and connection to your existing systems. Verification codes that never arrive and mismatched company documents are the usual blockers, and we handle them.
Most Hong Kong business closes on WhatsApp, but the WhatsApp Business app has hard limits: broadcast lists cap out, sharing one number across a team is awkward, and automated replies are basic. The API removes those limits — but the application, verification, template approval and per-message billing all need handling. This page sets out which part we do. Getting the enquiries in the first place is on Google Ads management.

Built around the platforms your customers use

We connect technical foundations, Hong Kong search intent, useful landing-page content and conversion tracking—so the work is prioritised around business value.
Search for WhatsApp Business API in Hong Kong and you get a list of platform vendors. What they sell is a software licence; what you send, and whether anyone answers, is generally left to you.
Our role is different. We are a marketing agency: we connect the API, write templates that pass approval, design the automated reply flows, and then actually run the campaigns each month and read the numbers. You can stay on whichever platform you prefer — we take no licence margin.
It also means we will tell you when you do not need the API. If you send a few dozen messages a month, the WhatsApp Business app is enough, and the money is better spent on local SEO.
This page uses its own service and audience journey, not a generic template.
From application through to monthly execution. The advertising side is costed on Google Ads pricing.

With the API, broadcast is no longer capped by the app’s list limits. But messages are billed per conversation, and Hong Kong’s PDPO requires recipient consent — so we set up the list, the consent record and the opt-out together.
Common questions answered automatically, out-of-hours replies, booking flows that complete. The point is fewer missed enquiries, not hiding behind a bot.
Google and Meta ads that open a WhatsApp conversation directly, skipping the landing page. Suited to businesses that already close in chat.
The app’s broadcast lists have a hard recipient cap. The API does not, but it bills per conversation instead.
Several people can work the same number at once, instead of the history living on one handset.
Not just an out-of-hours line, but a flow that can complete a booking or an enquiry.
Each conversation carries a source, so you can see which ad or page produced the sale. See conversion rate optimization.
The broadcast lists have stopped being enough.
Too many messages, replies too slow, customers gone.
The history sits on one phone and handovers are messy.
Clinics, retail, property — customers message before anything else.
Four of them, all common. The first stops the most people.
A company name, address or document that does not exactly match the business registration gets rejected. The fix is the paperwork, not resubmitting.
Too promotional, wrong format, or variables misused. Rewriting is faster than retrying.
Hong Kong’s PDPO requires consent and an opt-out for direct marketing. A bought or scraped list puts the risk on you.
The most common waste: the licence is paid, but nobody writes, schedules or reads anything.
Three parts, itemised, the same way as on Google Ads pricing.
Billed per conversation and paid to Meta or the platform. It does not pass through us and we take no margin.
If you use a third-party platform, that is their fee. You can also go direct with Meta.
One-off: application, verification, templates, flow design.
Fixed. Copy, scheduling, optimisation and reporting. Unrelated to how many messages you send.
We look at your monthly volume and how many enquiries are being missed. If you do not need it, we say so.
Business verification, number setup, and the first batch of templates submitted.
Automated reply flows, the consent record for your list, and the opt-out.
Campaign copy, scheduling and results — measured by cost per conversation and by sales.
You pay the platform directly. We take no margin, so which one we recommend makes no difference to us.
Below a certain volume the API is just another fixed cost.
PDPO consent and opt-out are handled from the start, not after a complaint.
Setup is not a handover. The copy, the scheduling and the reading of numbers are our job.
The measure is not how many messages went out; it is how many conversations became business. We track conversations by source, reply rate, and the conversation cost behind each sale.
We report the opt-out rate alongside it. A rising opt-out rate means the content or the frequency is wrong, and that matters more than volume sent. Sector specifics are on clinics and healthcare and retail.

The app is a free mobile application, fine for lower volumes, but broadcast lists are capped, sharing a number is awkward and automated replies are basic. The API removes those limits but requires application, verification and template approval, and bills per conversation.
The app’s broadcast lists have a hard cap, and Meta has tightened the monthly sending allowance further in recent years. The API has no such list cap and bills per conversation instead, so the real limit becomes budget rather than headcount.
It is permitted but governed by the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Direct marketing requires prior consent and a way to opt out. We set up the consent record and the opt-out alongside the campaign. We do not work from bought or scraped lists.
Billing is per conversation at rates Meta sets, which vary by conversation type and region and do change. You pay it directly to Meta or the platform; we take no margin. Our own charge is the setup fee and a fixed monthly fee.
It is nearly always documentation: the company name, address or business registration not matching exactly what was submitted. Resubmitting does not help; the paperwork has to be corrected first. We handle that step.
Hong Kong has several WhatsApp Business Solution Providers, and going direct with Meta is also possible. We do not sell licences, so the recommendation follows your volume, your systems and your budget rather than a vendor relationship.
Usually not. Below a certain volume the API is just another fixed cost and the app is sufficient. We say so plainly and suggest putting the budget into local SEO or Google Ads instead.
We look at your current monthly volume, how many enquiries are being missed, and what systems you already run — then tell you whether to move to the API or stay as you are, and what setup and monthly would cost if you do.
