Platform strategy
Deciding which platforms are worth it and which are not. One done properly beats three done thinly.

Built around the platforms your customers use

We connect technical foundations, Hong Kong search intent, useful landing-page content and conversion tracking—so the work is prioritised around business value.
The first decision in Hong Kong social is platform, not tone. Instagram leads with younger local consumers and brand presentation; Facebook still carries the over-thirty-fives and local community groups; RED is disproportionately powerful in beauty, dining, retail and anything visitor-facing, particularly for mainland audiences. The three differ in audience, language and format, and posting the same material across all of them usually serves none of them well.
The second problem is the follower metric itself. Follower count has no direct commercial meaning — ten thousand followers who will not buy are worth less than five hundred who will book. We design social as an acquisition channel: content earns discovery, but there has to be a direct path to purchase or booking, or demand stalls in the DMs and leaks away.
The third is consistency. Social is one of the few channels that resets when you stop — a few quiet months and reach falls noticeably. So we would rather design a cadence you can sustain than a plan that collapses after two months.
This page uses its own service and audience journey, not a generic template.
Deciding which platforms are worth it and which are not. One done properly beats three done thinly.
Content cut for each platform. The same material is presented differently on IG, Facebook and RED.
For younger local audiences and mainland visitors. Simplified usage is not a conversion of Traditional Chinese and needs separate handling.
Organic reach has a ceiling. Paid puts content that already works in front of more of the right people rather than forcing content that does not.
Learn more →Replacing "DM to enquire" with a link that books or sells. Usually the single largest improvement available.
Learn more →Enquiries and orders traced back to source rather than relying on the platform’s own engagement figures.
Learn more →With a purchase path in place, the same content output starts showing up in revenue.
Getting the platform choice right stops resources being spread across three accounts none of which work.
In beauty, dining and retail this is one of the fastest-growing discovery channels in Hong Kong.
With attribution in place, social returns become directly comparable to ads and SEO.
The category where RED and IG matter most, and the booking path decides conversion.
Visually driven, and strongest when paired with map ranking.
Learn more →The direct purchase path matters most, or discovery never becomes an order.
Learn more →A different mix here: usually LinkedIn and content distribution rather than IG.
The four problems we see most on Hong Kong social accounts.
It jams when staff are busy and cannot be measured at all. The most common break in a social funnel.
Different audiences and formats mean identical posting usually performs mediocrely everywhere.
Reach falls noticeably during silence, and restarting costs more than maintaining would have.
Follower count is not revenue. We report enquiries and orders.
The quote follows how many platforms, content frequency and whether shooting is required. A single platform is a much smaller scope.
The quote separates one-off build costs from the monthly retainer, and keeps ad budget separate from fees, so you always know where the money goes.
If the budget is tight we will say plainly which single item is worth doing first, instead of asking you to buy everything at once.
We start with how your existing content performs, which platform actually produces enquiries, and whether a direct purchase path exists.
We turn what we found into an actionable plan: what gets done, in what order, how long it takes and what it costs. No hidden fees and no long lock-in contract.
We produce, configure and launch — website, content, ad accounts and tracking all handled by one team, so you are not coordinating multiple vendors.
Launch is the start, not the finish. Each month we review the data, adjust direction and report in plain language rather than charts nobody reads.
We treat social as an acquisition channel rather than an image exercise, so we will say plainly which platform is not worth it for your business.
We are in Tsim Sha Tsui and work in Traditional Chinese and English together. Hong Kong customers use both, and covering one forfeits the other.
Hong Kong customers use both languages. Our sites, content and ads cover Traditional Chinese and English together, rather than treating one as an afterthought translation.
SEO, ads, content and the website sit with one team, so when something needs fixing you contact one person instead of refereeing between vendors.
Social is judged on enquiries and orders. Engagement is a process metric, not the result.

Not necessarily. Ten thousand followers who will not buy are worth less than five hundred who book. We look at enquiries and orders; follower count is one process metric among several.
It depends on the sector. Beauty, dining, retail and anything visitor-facing, very much so; B2B and professional services usually not. We look at where your customers are rather than assuming.
Consistency beats frequency. Two or three posts a week sustained beats twenty in a month followed by two months of silence. We design around what you can actually maintain.
You can, and it is often better — real footage from your shop or process persuades more than polished stock. We can train your team to capture usable material on a phone at far lower cost.
Organic reach is capped, so usually yes. Our approach is to let content prove itself organically first and then amplify it, rather than paying to push material nobody engages with.
Purchase-path changes show immediately. Content generally starts producing enquiries in one to two months, with a stable trend visible after three.
No, month to month. That said, social compounds, and one or two months is not long enough to judge it.
